Vietnamese Diacritics
By Thuy-Dung Pham
Vietnamese Diacritics explores the system of tone marks that shape both the pronunciation and meaning of Vietnamese words. These diacritics are essential to speaking and understanding the language correctly.
The project introduces the structure of Vietnamese by distinguishing the five primary tone marks (à, á, ã, ạ, ả). Through examples, it guides learners in pronunciation while also offering a playful experience: users can hear how the tones interact and combine, creating a distinctive Vietnamese soundscape.
